Letter from the Editor - Welcome to October

Tuesday, October 11, 2016 HALFSTACK MAGAZINE

Fall has arrived in all of it's glory here in Chicago readers. From the leaves turning gold and crimson to the crisp in the air, Fall is by far my favorite season in our beautiful city. The sunsets and sunrises are extra special and as the chill takes over, I just feel refreshed.

Before I open up this month's Letter from The Editor, I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your readership! This past month we hit a milestone. Our "Agents of Change" issue was the highest read issue we've had. EVER. With nearly half a million views - I am beyond blown away by the show of support. This month we reached over a million views on our account and we have reached readers in countries I would have never known we could. Thank you all for sharing our publication and thanks to our AMAZING team of creatives who continue to stick by my side! We are growing and I hope we will continue to create stories with meaning and art that inspires.

This month of October we will be focusing on fall segments - highlighting fashion, beauty and style that transition us from the warmer to colder weather. We will also be featuring and rolling out the newest episodes of our Youtube Series: Making It.

If you haven't had a chance to check the video out, please do so. This first round we share what it is like to "make it" in the fashion industry and launch a fashion label. The first few episodes feature The Apparel Agency and the subsequent releases will include Anna Hovet and Maybe Sunday. Make sure you subscribe to our channel to keep up with the fun.

We also have our Arts & Entertainment team out and about catching the latest fall releases in music, art, theatre and fashion. As we draw closer and closer to the election, we will also share some more political focused features throughout the month. Finally, we will close it off with some great Halloween focused features that are sure to spark the creativity in you all. If you have a pitch you want to send us - email me directly at:

Stay tuned readers!
