The Alternative to Botox is Micro-Needling

I had never heard of micro-needling until I met with Kelsey from Reset Med Spa. I had been wanting to try out Botox to see what it could do for my under-eye bags but am so glad that I bumped into Kelsey first! Unlike Botox where it temporarily paralyzes your muscles, micro-needling revitalizes your skin’s natural ability to heal itself by creating micro-injuries in the skin to aid in your body’s production of collagen and elastin. The tool that is used for this process is the MicroPen Elite and it only takes about 15-30 minutes to complete. Mine was done in about 20 minutes and I went straight to work right after my appointment. My face was a little bit red after my treatment so I used some concealer and makeup to cover up it, but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I have my before and after pictures posted below, the white under my eye is numbing cream:

I also got their medical based products that are good to use after surgery and also safe to use on open wounds. The hydrating serum is good to keep on over night, the rejuvenating hydrator is good for every day use and the eye cream is the best when it is first refrigerated then used.
