Sunday, September 06, 2015 HALFSTACK MAGAZINE

Hey everyone! Jen Lezan here and I am so excited to share today’s episode of Halfstack Highlights. I had the opportunity to speak with Arabel Alva Rosales and Cesar Rolon, the co founders and producers of Chicago’s very own Latino Fashion Week. Arabel is a prominent Chicago Hispanic business leader and an entrepreneur who runs a tech firm right here in the City. She’s a mother, a tech innovator and a supporter of all women following a dream.

Cesar is the mastermind behind Imagen Marketing and Brillante Multicultural Marketing Group – consulting firms that are behind some of Chicagos most prominent multi cultural events. His ability connect brands and people is truly exceptional. Together they Launched Latino Fashion Week 9 years ago to fill a need in the market. Today, Latino Fashion Week is the only full week and tour dedicated to Latino Fashion in the United States. They showcase top Latino designers from Central and South America, the Caribbean and the U.S during a multi-day branded entertainment event.

I had the opportunity to speak with them about their journey in their careers, launching Latino Fashion Week and what attendees can expect during the events that are taking place Sept. 30th through October 4th. In its ninth year, the theme for LATINO FASHION WEEK 2015, reflects the idea of “TIMELESS,”. This year, the organization celebrates the ability to create fashion that is beautiful to the eyes, stimulating to the spirit and forever imprinted on the soul. LFW™ is a showcase of all that is fashion during the 2015 Tour in the cities of Miami and our hometown Chicago. You can learn more about Cesar, Arabel and this years show by listening for more.
