In today’s episode of Halfstack Highlights, Jen Lezan talks with Interior Designer and DIY Pioneer Genevieve Gorder. Genevieve is best known for paving the way for DIY on HGTV’s trading spaces and being a judge on Design Star. She was a DIYer before DIY was part of popular culture! Jen talks with Genevieve about her journey into television, her career as a whole as well as tidbits of interior advice for the young twenty something wanting to make their house a home. 

Genevieve also gives listeners a run down of her latest show – Genevieves Renovation. She’s taking on her biggest project yet, renovating her own New York apartment for her and her daughter and all the drama and beauty that comes along with it. Follow along as she breaks down the walls next door to transform her tiny 1850's apartment into a fabulous space. But prime New York real estate always comes at a price, and the apartment next door has been untouched for 40 years which means this design challenge will be her toughest ever.
