The Houston Ballet's Aladdin Leaps into your Heart with Stunning Imagery

This weekend, the Houston Ballet's Aladdin previewed their stunning showcase at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, Chicago. Aladdin, only being shown the weekend of March 22 & 23, shows being at 8pm (opening night) on the 22nd and 2pm on Sunday March 23, is a tale of love, trickery, and triumph, originally created for the New National Ballet of Japan in Tokyo in 2008.

This original production features spectacular scenery by the celebrated English designer Dick Bird and an original score by Carl Davis. Chicago's Philharmonic joins this colorful production, making it more of a can't miss show! Be prepared to be amazed such as the  Daily Telegraph of London was; stating about the show, “Aladdin is a full-blown piece of three-act splendour and looks absolutely astonishing….a delightful family show, and an ideal first outing to the ballet.”
