Patagonia Chicago Lincoln Park location needs you!!

Patagonia, a designer of out-door, surf, and sports related apparel, equipment, and footwear has launched their Worn Wear Program in eight out of their twenty nine stores in the United States; one being the Chicago Lincoln Park location. Worn Wear is a used clothing program which is part of Patagonia's Common Threads Partnership where customers take responsibility to reduce, repair, reuse, and recycle their Patagonia clothing.

While spring cleaning is far from over, the opportunity to dig into your closet and trade in your gently used Patagonia men's and women's gently used outerwear still exists. Outerwear such as fleece, down, and synthetic insulation and ski and alpine apparel that is in good  condition can be traded in for 50% of the resale value in the form of a gift card, which can be redeemed on Patagonia website or in-stores.

While the Worn Wear Program is a new company concept, it is expanding due to the great success of the program at their Portland store, where the program was first launched. Within two weeks the Chicago location has had a great turn out by gathering 77 pieces. All trade ins will be cleaned the Patagonia way, "green, chemical free, and not using a lot of energy, clean footprint", according to Jackson Pool, manager of Patagonia Chicago Lincoln Park.

The Worn Wear section in Lincoln Park will debut in the Fall of 2013. New and existing customers will have the opportunity to purchase high end trade in gear at discounted prices.
